"Last Saturday night, in Phoenix, Trans-Siberian Orchestra's performance will rank as the show of the year as December is quickly upon us. Recreating its 30-year-old masterpiece "The Wall" in full force, Trans-Siberian Orchestra brought its band of seasoned musicians to the US Airways Center. One of the cornerstones of Rock history, the complete operatic album has been performed all over the world to millions. Making sure every person from row 1 to the last row in the rafters got a show in every aspect of the word, Trans-Siberian Orchestra spared no expense. With a minimal wall built around the stage, the timely start brought the band out, with the wall becoming the center of attention as each song progressed and never taking away from the amazing musicianship being played behind it. Highlights included the fiery explosion when a war plane crashed into the wall and the puppets rising from the stage to recreate the Teacher and Mother characters. Emotional moments featured the showing of several local soldiers who have perished in recent conflicts on the wall, and the children of a local Phoenix school singing along with the band during "Another Brick In The Wall, Part II".
